About Malinska Online

Malinska Online is your local resource for everything happening in Malinska, on the island of Krk in Croatia. We started in 2024 as a small editorial project to share what makes our town special, and we’ve grown into a directory and guide for visitors and locals alike.

The site is built around three things: a complete directory of places to eat, drink, swim, and stay in Malinska; a calendar of events happening this week, this month, and across the season; and original stories about life in our town — what’s new, what’s worth knowing, and where to find the things that aren’t on the obvious lists.

Most of what’s on this site comes directly from our own visits, conversations with owners, and a lot of walking around the promenade. Some of the data — opening hours, ratings, current status — is pulled from Google so it stays fresh. Where we have an opinion or a recommendation, it’s our own.
