Malinska Walk & Taste, a gastronomic event that takes place from May 18 to June 1, 2024, offers you a unique opportunity to get to know the rich gastronomic tradition of the islands of Krk and Kvarner.
The Malinska Walk & Taste project includes tastings of local specialties, guided gastronomic tours, promotion of local food and Kvarner wines along with an appropriate entertainment program.
Malinska Walk & Taste is a project of TZO Malinska-Dubašnica in cooperation with the Interpretation Center of Maritime Heritage DUBoak, the Kvarner Wine Association, and several local catering facilities, which will prepare a special catering offer during the duration of the program. The project starts on Saturday, May 18, and will be held until June 1, 2024.
During the specified period, you will be able to taste traditional dishes and seasonal foods such as lamb, asparagus, cheese, cottage cheese, seasonal fruits and vegetables, etc., as well as wines of autochthonous varieties from Kvarner.
MALINSKA WALK & TASTE TASTING WALKS
As part of the project, Walk & Taste tasting walks will be organized, which will be held on Saturdays, May 18 and 25 and June 1.
Departure is in front of the Maritime Heritage Interpretation Center (Obala 21b, Malinska) at the following times:
– group: 12:00 – 2:30 p.m
– group: 17:00 – 19:30 h
Come and walk with us through the history, tradition and flavors of Malinska, the island of Krk and Kvarner!
*Each group has a capacity of up to 30 people.
The tasting walk includes:
– goodie bag,
– 3 tastings,
– guide,
– ticket for the Maritime Heritage Interpretation Center – DUBoak,
– transport by train
– voucher for the purchase of wine from the Kvarner Wine Association assortment at a promotional price.
The price of the walk is €30.00 per person.
MALINSKA WALK & TASTE EVENING TASTING
In the evening, you can enjoy a tasting of Kvarner wine varieties with the gastronomic creations of MasterChef Časlav Matijević at promotional prices with an appropriate music program.
